I can have a drink the day after tomorrow. I haven't so much as smelt booze in a month. I have a feeling Wednesday night might be a bit of a shock. But not as much of a shock as Thursday morning.
I've been in similar situation (not drinking) and the curious thing is that when you can't have pint it's exactly what you want. Yesterday was perfect for crisp IPA ina crisp beer garden with some crisps but doh! it was over sweet ginger beer for me!
I nearly cracked on Saturday night - there are about 8 bottles of extremely chilled cava in the fridge and they were singing SO sweetly to me at about 6:30... But I held strong!
Ease yourself back in though, I'm on a 'Kasteel Cru' buzz at the moment. Highly recommended it's French lager brewed with Champagne yeast - a dead tasty drop. I can hoover the stuff up without a touch of muggery the next day.
Castel Cru is delish, they have it at Utobeer on Borough Market and or at their bar "The Rake" down toward vinopolis. plus loads other lovely brews * sadly goes to make more tea*
bltp: when are you back on? f-c: i'd love to do that, but i don't think i have the desire to go forever. Although I can imagine doing it again (but not going on about it quite so much)
I finish today (it was some medication I was on rather than some Lent/new year thing). It was more the poor substitutes that rankled ie watery coke at a gig, flat warm canada dry in a pub, Barnsley thrashing t'pool and me celebrating with grapefruit juice. I forgot the other day and had to watch my mate sup the beer I ordered by accident with my ramen grrr!

VS: I know - I think I could too but I'm not sure I can face it right now...
PM: Thanka for the tip! I'll try and find some

You've gone this far, perhaps you might never go back.
Someone I work with did what you're doing, and three years later he's not touched a drop.

Soldier on until the end of Lent, then let loose on the Bank Holiday weekend.
It can't be helping having to find booze related photos for here.
