Sweet Dreams

Scrap woke up in floods of tears today. What usually happens is he lies in bed impatiently muttering into his books while waiting for his bunny clock to 'wake up' then he bangs on the door shouting, "Bunny’s awake, it’s daytime. I’m getting up now!!" Today, for the first time in ages, he slept on and was woken by the sound of bunny’s eyes clicking open. When I asked him why he was so upset, he said it was because he was dreaming about Lightning McQueen and the naughty bunny had woken him up. First of all I was suprised that he understood the concept of dreaming. Then I thought, imagine, how good life must be if all you had to dream about was your favourite movie star. I frequently wake, bolt-upright, in the dead of night dreaming not of Johnny Depp, Owen Wilson or Geroge Clooney but that I’ve forgotten to take the lamb out of the oven.

Acccording to online dream interpreters: "To see something burning, indicates that you are experiencing some intense emotions and/or passionate sexual feelings. There is some situation or issue that you can no longer avoid and ignore. Alternatively, it may suggests that you need to take time off for yourself and relax." Well that's decided then, it is definitely time for a holiday.

That is just so cute! Poor Scrap - I hope he got to continue his dream from where he left off at the next bedtime!

Tell Scrap that last night I dreamt I was eating a giant marshmallow. When I woke up, the pillow was gone (boom boom!)
