The Best Restaurant in London?

Tell me is it Riva in Barnes? Mirch Marsala in Tooting? That litttle Greek place in Camberwell (wish I was sitting out there now with a glass of retsina) or Locanda Locatelli?
Where's the best?
Then me and Rob will visit them all. We can all visit them all and give marks and draw up a chart. Great idea! Like our very own Richard & Judy's Wine Club. But for London restaurants. And next month we can do Paris!

Maybe Bilston the month after?

Are you two angling for a new daytime tv programme? Richard and Judy must be due to retire soon.

Thank you NMoO for actually suggesting somewhere. I have never been to Cantina Del Ponte and will be booking a table.

I like the greek place in camberwell too, have only been to some of the obvious fancy places these are the cheaper places we like.always like the food bits of your blog, great pictures, the tunes are good too.

Have been to a few japanese restaurants and we like this one it's friendly and the foods good not excessively pricey, next to japanese supermarket too

The Baltic. No contest.

It's the only restaurant where I have seen someone throw up at their table because one vodka shot too many.

Thank you Bltp - really fantastic recommendations. we've not been to Ten Ten Tei or Gaby's for many years and need to revisit. Always wanted to go to Kastoori too.

Heidi, you sold that one really well! Let's go when you get back x

Just been to Quirinale on Great Peter Street, SW1. Fantistic carpaccio of swordfish, followed by lovely risotto. I'm going back soon!

Thanks for such a good selection. Interesting to see Italian restaurants getting most votes but sadly not one British recommendation :(
