I was working in a very nice studio in Borough yesterday. Lunch was a take-away from fantastic Latin American cafe El Vergel. We all had the day's special which was steak with a pumpkin and potato mash, salad and a fairly fiery salsa. It was delicious - freshly hand-made, nicely spiced and with generous portions - I would really recommend it if you're in the area. I'm planning to go back one day very soon for the Special Latin Breakfast: scrambled eggs with a piquant salsa sauce, Spanish chorizo, beans, village bread and a drink £4.50! Yum!We finished early so I took a slow stroll into town to meet my gal-pals in Covent Garden. I crossed Waterloo bridge just as the sun was setting.
Best city in the world.
