Booze Ban: Day 2

The sun is shining, the birds are singing, there is a soft grey haze over St Paul's - but my mind is as clear as a mountain stream. This is going to be a walk in the park...

Yes, that's right! Let's see what you say when it's lasagne for tea tonight!

Is there any point in living if you can't enjoy a drink or two?

I wouldn't bother to get out of bed if I knew I could never drink again. But a month is a different matter.

Still, you have my full support.

*orders yet another Guinness*

Lasagne happens to go very nicely indeed with a glass of chilled sparkling water!

you need to get into bottlegreen cordials - i particularly favour the ginger and lemongrass one (though yr missus probably knows how to make something even better from scratch. that doesn't rot yr teeth).

and i think yr missus should be allowed to drink teh perrier jouet. With her girlfriends. on a night out. So there.

Cordials are a good plan. And, as you seem to be developing a thing for this Perrier Jouet, maybe you'd like to come over and have it with Silvana! I'll drive to the cinema and see an improving film!
