When A Band Is, Literally, Quite Good

I know it's kind of tiresome going, "This old thing is really good. Why can't someone be as good as this anymore?" But, bloody hell, James Brown's band were, literally, quite good, weren't they?

a most excellent link.

i might add that far and away the tightest band i have ever seen were the JB's when they toured under their own name in the mid/ late 80's.

simply outstanding

Good point, David. Funkapolitan were a bit special... The JBs are all very well and good, but up against, Working Week they sound a bit, well, lame.
